Indagini Alpine _ le riviste di turismo e i depliant continuano ad alimentare lo stereotipo del felice mondo alpestre, retaggio romantico che piegava la realtà, anche la più triste e faticosa, in un eden idealizzato. In primo piano l’ebbrezza dello sci, l’incanto dei ghiacciai, lo sforzo delle scalate, e sullo sfondo, figure indistinguibili, gli ultimi montanari. A quasi quarant’anni dalle interviste di Nuto Revelli, Malfer ritorna sugli stessi territori d’indagine etnografica usando la fedeltà, imparziale e icastica, della macchina fotografica. Viaggia in un arco di diversi anni nelle vallate meno toccate dal turismo realizzando una serie di reportage foto-giornalistici. Nel difficile tentativo di ribaltare quello stereotipo che, da una prospettiva urbana, ancora avvolge in gran parte il mondo alpino. / Tourism magazines and brochures continue to feed the stereotype of the happy alpine world, a romantic legacy that bent reality, even the saddest and most tiring, into an idealized eden. In the foreground the thrill of skiing, the enchantment of the glaciers, the effort of climbing, and in the background, indistinguishable figures, the last mountaineers. Almost forty years after the interviews of Nuto Revelli, Malfer returns to the same territories of ethnographic survey using the fidelity, impartial and icastica of the camera. Travels in a valley of several years in the valleys less affected by tourism, creating a series of photo-journalistic reports.
