Ad Occhi Chiusi _ il tempo e lo spazio sono costruiti dalla nostra incoscienza. Nella mente, la realtà si popola di sogno, di illusione, di ricordo. Così pure le fotografie ravvivano la memoria facendosi sentire un altro mondo vicino, lasciandoci la possibilità di immergerci in un momento passato o in un volto assente. In queste riprese chi sopravvive chiude gli occhio, stringendo lo sguardo vivo di un affetto mancato, perduto esercitando un diritto e non solo un dovere. Quell’istante che fu atroce e crudele affida alla carta e alla mente il luogo in cui ritrovare il calore e la bellezza che, come nella più antica Pietà, stanno nell’eterno abbraccio a chi se ne va. / With Eyes Closed, time and space are built by our unconsciousness. In the mind, reality is filled with dreams, illusions and memories. In the same way, the photographs enliven the memory making us feel another world close, leaving us the opportunity to immerse ourselves in a past moment or in an absent face. In these shots who survives closes the eye, tightening the living gaze of a lost affection, lost by exercising a right and not just a duty. That instant that was atrocious and cruel entrusts to the paper and the mind the place in which to rediscover the warmth and beauty that, as in the most ancient Pietà, stand in the eternal embrace of those who leave.
